Hier, le 138e Foire d'import-export de Chine (Foire de Canton) was grandly opened in Guangzhou. As one of the world's largest and most influential trade events, this year's Canton Fair has attracted buyers from more than 200 countries and regions around the world with the theme of "openness, innovation and sharing"

1. The scale of the exhibition reached a new high

The total area of this exhibition is about 1.55 million square meters, with a total of 74,600 booths and more than 32,000 exhibitors, all of which are record highs.

Approximately 3,600 of these companies are first-time exhibitors, reflecting the attractiveness and openness of the Canton Fair to emerging companies.

The proportion of innovative enterprises has increased, and the proportion of high-quality enterprises with award-winning titles such as high-tech, specialized, special and new, and individual champions has increased significantly.

2. "Intelligent" blessing: digital platform and exhibitor support

This exhibition will continue to operate the online platform on a regular basis, and pay equal attention to display and offline exhibitions.

The exhibitor has launched a service extension policy for paying exhibitors: paying exhibitors can receive a free six-month extension of digital platform services, and new exhibitors can receive a basic digital service package. It is expected to benefit more than 31,000 export enterprises.

3. Promote going overseas: The global roadshow continues to be hot

From July to September, the Canton Fair team launched a global roadshow in 10 countries, including Japan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Bangladesh, Australia, Malaysia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, further expanding the international influence of the exhibition.

At the promotion event held in London, representatives of China and the UK had in-depth exchanges on trade cooperation and exhibition trends, attended by more than 200 representatives of institutions and enterprises.

Last year's Autumn Fair attracted buyers from 224 countries and regions, with 253,000 offline overseas buyers, of which British buyers were active

4. New zones and cutting-edge theme highlights

This year's Canton Fair set up a smart medical zone for the first time, attracting 47 companies including surgical robots, smart monitors, and wearable devices to participate in the exhibition.

At the same time, a service robot zone (about 46 exhibitors) will continue to be set up to display future technology products such as embodied robots and robot dogs.

During the event, the "Canton Fair Music and Food Festival" will be held in the atrium of Area A, with the theme of "Connecting the World in the Name of Friendship and Tasting the Beauty of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage". The event will integrate elements such as music, martial arts, and traditional skills to enhance the cultural attributes of the exhibition.
